Project Manager

Position Overview: Avital Homes is seeking experienced and motivated Project Managers to join our growing team. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets to track progress and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Lead project meetings, provide progress reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any issues or concerns.
  • Resolve conflicts, make decisions, and implement solutions to keep projects on track and meet objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permit requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, mentor team members, and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering residential projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Warranty Manager

At Avital Homes, we believe the homeowner experience continues long after closing day. We are seeking a customer-focused, organized, and solutions-driven Warranty Manager to help deliver an exceptional post-closing experience for our homeowners. This role serves as a key connection between homeowners, trade partners, and internal teams to facilitate warranty service, coordinate resolutions, and help ensure our homes and customer experience align with the quality and standards Avital Homes is committed to delivering.

This role requires a unique blend of customer service, construction knowledge, communication skills, organization, and problem-solving ability. The ideal candidate approaches each interaction with empathy and professionalism while also maintaining consistency, documentation, accountability, and adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Position Overview

The Warranty Manager will oversee and administer homeowner warranty service requests from initial intake through resolution and closeout. This individual will help facilitate a positive homeowner experience by coordinating repairs, communicating expectations clearly, maintaining accurate records, and working collaboratively with trade partners and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and professionally.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, managing details, and helping homeowners navigate the transition into new homeownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty questions, service requests, and post-closing support
  • Facilitate and manage the builder warranty process in alignment with Avital Homes’ warranty commitments, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate and schedule warranty inspections, trade partner visits, service appointments, and repair work
  • Evaluate homeowner concerns and assist in determining warrantable conditions based on applicable warranty coverage, construction standards, manufacturer guidelines, NAHB Residential Construction Performance Guidelines, and 2-10 HBW standards where applicable
  • Maintain timely, professional, and proactive communication with homeowners throughout the warranty process
  • Help establish positive homeowner relationships by setting clear expectations, providing updates, and ensuring homeowners feel supported and informed
  • Work collaboratively with construction teams, project managers, vendors, and trade partners to facilitate efficient and high-quality warranty resolutions
  • Monitor warranty service performance, response times, completion timelines, and homeowner satisfaction
  • Document all warranty communications, inspections, approvals, service activity, and resolutions accurately within company systems and software platforms
  • Assist in identifying recurring construction, product, or trade-related issues and communicate trends to leadership to support continuous improvement
  • Coordinate manufacturer warranty claims and vendor follow-up as needed
  • Support and participate in homeowner orientations, warranty walkthroughs, and educational communication related to homeowner maintenance responsibilities and warranty coverage
  • Help uphold Avital Homes’ standards for professionalism, customer care, quality, and accountability throughout the post-closing experience
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and composure when handling sensitive homeowner situations or escalated concerns
  • Promote a solutions-oriented and customer-first mindset while balancing fairness, consistency, company standards, and contractual obligations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in residential construction, warranty management, customer care, construction administration, project coordination, or related field preferred
  • Understanding of residential construction methods, systems, and terminology
  • Familiarity with builder warranty processes, NAHB Residential Construction Performance Guidelines, and/or 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty programs is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with homeowners, vendors, and team members
  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple warranty requests and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms such as Buildertrend or similar systems
  • Ability to read plans, scopes, and construction documentation is a plus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to homes and job sites throughout the Kansas City metro area
